AI Agent Chat

AI Agent Chat is the fastest way to go from an idea in your head to a finished, scheduled post. Instead of navigating through separate tools for ideation, scripting, image generation, and distribution, you describe what you want in a conversation and the AI agent handles the entire pipeline.

What Is AI Agent Chat

Agent Chat is a multi-turn chat interface inside Social Neuron. You talk to the AI the way you would talk to a content assistant -- "I need a TikTok video about morning routines for busy professionals" -- and the agent works through each stage of the content pipeline on your behalf.

The agent can:

  • Generate content ideas based on your topic and Brand Brain context
  • Write scripts with hooks, body copy, and calls to action
  • Create images and videos using any of the 35+ AI models available in Social Neuron
  • Preview generated content before you approve it
  • Schedule or publish approved content to your connected platforms

All within a single conversation thread.

How It Works

A typical Agent Chat session moves through a series of stages. The agent tracks where you are in the pipeline and guides you through each step.

Step 1: Describe Your Goal

Start by telling the agent what you want. Be as specific or as open-ended as you like:

  • Specific: "Create a 30-second TikTok video showing 5 morning stretches for desk workers, with upbeat music and captions."
  • Open-ended: "I need content for my fitness brand this week. What should I post?"

The agent uses your Brand Brain profile to understand your voice, audience, and visual style from the first message.

Step 2: Review Ideas

The agent generates content ideas tailored to your request. Each idea includes a hook, angle, and format recommendation. You pick the one you want to develop, ask for more options, or refine the direction.

Step 3: Scripting

Once you select an idea, the agent writes a full script. For video content, this includes the opening hook, main body, and closing call to action. For image posts, it generates captions and hashtags. For carousels, it outlines each slide.

You can edit the script in the chat, ask the agent to rewrite sections, or approve it as-is.

Step 4: Generation

The agent sends the approved script to the appropriate creation tool -- Generative Studio for videos and images, Avatar Lab for talking-head content, or Storyboard Studio for multi-scene videos. You see a preview of the generated content directly in the chat.

Step 5: Review and Approve

Nothing is published without your explicit approval. Review the generated content, request changes ("make the text bigger," "try a different color scheme," "regenerate with a more cinematic style"), or approve it.

Step 6: Schedule or Publish

Once approved, tell the agent where and when to publish. "Post this to TikTok and YouTube tomorrow at 8 AM" or "Schedule for the best time this week." The agent handles platform-specific formatting automatically.

Example Conversation

Here is what a real Agent Chat session looks like:

You: I want to create a TikTok about meal prep for busy professionals. Something quick and punchy.

Agent: Based on your brand voice and what is performing well in the health and productivity niche, here are 3 ideas:

  1. "5 Meals, 1 Hour" -- show a time-lapse of preparing a week's meals with text overlays for each recipe
  2. "The $30 Week" -- budget meal prep challenge with cost breakdowns
  3. "Prep While You Wait" -- meals you can prepare during your morning coffee

Which direction sounds best, or should I explore a different angle?

You: I like option 1. Let's go with that.

Agent: Here is the script for "5 Meals, 1 Hour":

Hook (0-3s): "I meal prepped the entire week in 60 minutes." Body (3-25s): Quick cuts of each meal being prepared with ingredient lists as text overlay. Chicken stir-fry, overnight oats, pasta salad, turkey wraps, smoothie packs. CTA (25-30s): "Follow for more time-saving food hacks."

Want me to adjust anything, or should I generate the video?

You: Change the CTA to mention saving money too. Then generate it.

Agent: Updated CTA: "Follow for more hacks that save time and money." Generating the video now with Veo 3 Fast in 9:16 format...

You: That looks great. Schedule it for tomorrow morning on TikTok.

Agent: Scheduled for tomorrow at 7:30 AM on TikTok (your audience's peak engagement time). Caption and hashtags are set. You can review or edit it in your Content Library anytime before it goes live.

Easy Mode vs Pro Mode

Agent Chat supports both modes, and you can switch between them at any point in the conversation.

Easy Mode

The agent makes all technical decisions for you. It picks the best AI model for your content type, selects optimal aspect ratios, and configures generation settings automatically. You focus entirely on the creative direction.

Best for: quick content creation, users who do not want to manage technical settings, getting started with the platform.

Pro Mode

You control the technical details. Tell the agent which model to use ("generate this with Midjourney instead of Flux"), specify aspect ratios, adjust generation parameters, or request specific styles. The agent respects your choices while still applying Brand Brain context.

Best for: experienced creators who want precise control, testing specific models, and fine-tuning output quality.

You do not need to choose a mode upfront. Start in Easy Mode and switch to Pro Mode for any individual step by specifying your preferences. Say "use Sora 2 for this video" and the agent switches to your chosen model for that generation.

How Brand Brain Connects

Every response from the agent is shaped by your Brand Brain profile. This means:

  • Scripts match your brand's tone, vocabulary, and communication style
  • Visual content follows your color palette and aesthetic preferences
  • Captions and hashtags use language patterns your audience responds to
  • Content ideas align with your brand's positioning and target audience

You do not need to remind the agent about your brand in every message. Brand Brain context is always active.

If you have not set up Brand Brain yet, the agent still works -- it just produces more generic content. Setting up your brand profile takes about 5 minutes and significantly improves output quality.

The Stage-Based Pipeline

Behind the conversation, Agent Chat tracks your progress through a structured pipeline:

StageWhat HappensYou See
IdeationAgent generates ideas based on your topic + Brand Brain + performance dataA list of content concepts to choose from
ScriptingAgent writes a full script for your selected ideaScript text you can edit or approve
GenerationAgent sends the script to the appropriate AI modelA preview of the generated content
ReviewAgent presents the output for your approvalContent preview with options to regenerate or adjust
DistributionAgent schedules or publishes to your chosen platformsConfirmation of schedule and platform details

The agent shows your current stage in the chat interface, so you always know where you are in the process. You can go back to any previous stage -- "actually, let me pick a different idea" or "rewrite the script with a different hook."

When to Use Agent Chat vs Direct Tools

Agent Chat is not the only way to create content in Social Neuron. Here is when each approach works best:

ScenarioRecommended Approach
You know exactly what you want and just need to generate itGenerative Studio or Storyboard Studio directly
You want to explore ideas and iterate through conversationAgent Chat
You are creating a batch of similar contentGenerative Studio with batch generation
You want the AI to handle the full pipeline with minimal inputAgent Chat in Easy Mode
You need to repurpose existing contentRepurpose Studio
You are building a complex multi-scene videoStoryboard Studio
You want a talking-head presenter videoAvatar Lab

Agent Chat can access all of these tools on your behalf. If you start in Agent Chat and realize you need a specific tool, the agent can route your content to it. You do not have to leave the conversation.

Credit Costs

Agent Chat itself is free to use. You pay credits only when the agent generates content on your behalf:

ActionStarting Cost
Content ideas1 credit each
Script generation2 credits
Image generation15+ credits (varies by model)
Video generation20+ credits (varies by model)
Scheduling and publishingFree

The agent shows you the credit cost before generating anything, so there are no surprises. In Easy Mode, it picks the most cost-effective model. In Pro Mode, you see the cost of your chosen model before confirming.

Getting Started

  1. Open AI Agent Chat from the main navigation or dashboard
  2. Type your content goal -- as specific or open-ended as you like
  3. Follow the agent's suggestions through ideation, scripting, and generation
  4. Review and approve the output
  5. Schedule or publish directly from the chat

The agent remembers context within a conversation, so you can iterate freely. Start a new chat anytime for a fresh context.
