Content Library
Everything you create in Social Neuron lands in the Content Library automatically. Videos, images, scripts, captions -- organized by project, searchable by type, and one click away from distribution. Nothing gets lost, and everything stays connected to the brief that created it.
What the Content Library Does
The Content Library is not just storage. It is the connective tissue between creation and distribution. When you generate a video in Generative Studio or write a caption with the AI, the output is saved here with full context: the prompt you used, the AI model that produced it, the project it belongs to, and the Brand Brain profile that shaped it.
This means you can always trace back to why a piece of content sounds the way it does, regenerate a variation, or hand it off to distribution without re-entering any details.
Search, Filter, and Organize
Filters
| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Content type | Video, Image, Text, Script, Caption |
| Status | Draft, Published, Scheduled, Failed |
| Platform | YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, All |
| Date range | Custom start/end, Last 7 days, Last 30 days |
| Project | Any project in your account |
| AI model used | Veo 3, Flux Pro, Midjourney, Gemini, and 30+ others |
Search
Type any keyword to search across captions, prompts, and project names. If you generated an image with the prompt "sunset over Tokyo skyline," searching "Tokyo" brings it right back.
Project Organization
Every piece of content belongs to a project. Use projects to separate brands, campaigns, content series, or clients. When you open a project, you see only its content -- no clutter from other work.
If you manage multiple brands, create one project per brand. Brand Brain settings apply at the project level, so each brand's content stays voice-consistent without manual switching.
Preview and Review
Click any item to open a full preview. Videos play inline with scrubbing controls. Images display at full resolution. Text content shows the complete output with formatting.
The preview panel also shows:
- Generation details -- which AI model produced it, the prompt used, and the credit cost
- Brand alignment -- whether Brand Brain was active and which profile was applied
- Distribution status -- whether the content has been published, scheduled, or is still a draft
- Version history -- previous iterations if you regenerated or edited
The Repurpose Workflow
One of the most valuable workflows starts in the Content Library. Instead of creating from scratch every time, select existing content and adapt it for a new platform or format.
How it works:
- Find a high-performing piece of content in your library
- Click "Repurpose" to open it in the Repurpose Studio
- Choose the target format -- turn a YouTube script into Instagram carousel text, or convert a blog-style caption into a TikTok hook
- Brand Brain maintains your voice across the transformation
- The repurposed content saves as a new item linked to the original
This is where the AI learning loop pays off. The Analytics dashboard shows which content performed best. Open those winners in the Content Library, repurpose them for platforms you have not tried yet, and distribute again -- with data backing your decisions.
Repurposing a piece of content creates a new item in your library. The original is never modified. Both items link to each other so you can track the content family.
Brand Brain Tagging
When Brand Brain is active for a project, every piece of content generated within that project is tagged with brand context. This tagging captures:
- Voice profile -- the tone, vocabulary, and style rules that shaped the output
- Audience context -- who the content was written for
- Visual identity -- color palette, style preferences, and aesthetic direction applied to images and videos
This means when you browse your library, you can see at a glance whether content was produced with full brand alignment or generated in a quick, unbranded session. It also means that when you send content to distribution, the platform already knows the brand context and can suggest appropriate captions, hashtags, and scheduling.
Bulk Actions
Select multiple items to perform actions in batch:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Schedule all | Send selected items to the Distribution Hub with a single scheduling session |
| Download | Export selected items as a ZIP file (MP4 for video, PNG/JPG for images, TXT for text) |
| Move to project | Reorganize content between projects |
| Delete | Remove selected items permanently |
| Send to distribution | Open the publish flow with all selected items queued |
Deleting content from the library is permanent. Published content on your social platforms is not affected -- only the copy stored in Social Neuron is removed.
Version History
Every time you regenerate, edit, or refine a piece of content, the library keeps the previous version. This is useful when you want to:
- Compare how different AI models handled the same prompt
- Roll back to an earlier version that performed better
- Track how your brand voice evolved across iterations
Version history is automatic. You do not need to manually save versions.
Connecting to Distribution
The fastest path from creation to publishing runs through the Content Library. Select any item (or multiple items), click "Send to Distribution," and you land in the Distribution Hub with your content pre-loaded. Captions, platform formatting, and Brand Brain context carry over automatically.
For content that performed well, this makes redistribution effortless. Check your analytics, identify top performers, open them in the library, and schedule them for platforms where they have not appeared yet.
Storage and Limits
All content is stored securely in cloud storage tied to your account. There are no storage limits on any paid plan -- everything you create is kept until you delete it. Free plan users have a 1 GB storage cap.
