Brand Brain
Brand Brain is Social Neuron's brand intelligence -- the system that learns who you are (your voice, your audience, your visual identity) and applies that knowledge to everything you create. Every piece of content, from a TikTok caption to a carousel slide, stays on-brand without you having to repeat yourself in every prompt.
You manage Brand Brain from Brand Studio, a single page organized into three tabs: Studio, Brand, and Intelligence.
If you used Social Neuron before, this used to be a "Brand Voice" page tucked under Settings with five separate steps. It is now its own top-level Brand page in the sidebar, consolidated into three tabs.
Studio Tab -- Your Brand at a Glance
Studio is the front page of Brand Studio -- a live snapshot of your brand's health rather than an editor. It shows:
- Your brand cover and an honest N of 8 essentials checklist (see below)
- An on-brand rate, so you can see how closely recent content has matched your profile
- A "needs you" panel calling out the specific gaps worth filling next
- An "injected into" strip showing where your brand context is actively being used -- Agent Chat, Recipes and Autopilot, and MCP
- A recent-media gallery of brand-aligned content in action
- A team board, for accounts with team members: pinned references plus drafts and approved content waiting in the approval queue, with an at-a-glance view of who is working on what
Strength Indicator: N of 8 Essentials
The Studio tab shows a strength indicator -- N of 8 essentials -- so you always know how complete your profile is at a glance. The 8 essentials are: logo, color palette, typography, tagline, tone, content pillars, audience, and vocabulary. A profile with more essentials filled in produces more consistently on-brand output; the indicator tells you exactly what is still missing rather than leaving you guessing.
Filling in even one missing essential noticeably improves output. If your strength indicator shows a low count, start with whichever essential feels fastest to add -- often typography and colors (from your Brand tab's visual kit) give the quickest lift.
Brand Tab -- Your Identity
The Brand tab is where you edit your actual brand profile: voice, audience, and vocabulary, plus your visual kit -- colors, fonts, and logo, with design tokens you can export.
One-Step Website Extraction
Enter your website URL and Social Neuron extracts a full draft profile in one step:
Identity
- Brand name, tagline, and mission statement
- Industry classification and competitive positioning
Personality and Voice
- Brand archetype (e.g., Creator, Explorer, Sage)
- Tone dimensions -- how formal, humorous, respectful, and enthusiastic your brand sounds
- Language patterns to use and patterns to avoid
Audience
- Target demographics (age range, location, interests)
- Psychographics (pain points, aspirations, values)
Content Strategy
- Content pillars -- the weighted topics your brand talks about
- Vocabulary rules -- preferred terms, banned terms, branded terminology
Visual Identity
- Logo and color palette (primary, secondary, accent)
- Typography preferences (heading and body fonts)
The more information your website contains, the more accurate the extraction. Sites with an about page, clear branding, and social links produce the richest profiles. You can re-run extraction any time your site changes -- for example after a rebrand -- to refresh your profile.
Platform Voice Overrides
Different platforms call for different tones. Set per-platform overrides so your LinkedIn posts sound professional while your TikTok captions stay casual -- all without losing your core brand identity. Supported platforms: LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Bluesky.
Versioning and Rollback
Every change to your brand profile creates a new version. You can view the full history of changes, compare any two versions, and roll back to a previous version with one click -- so you can experiment with a new tone or content pillar set without fear of losing what worked before.
Intelligence Tab -- How Your Brand Learns
The Intelligence tab has two parts: Memory -- the sources your brand profile draws on (your website, uploaded guidelines, sample content, past extractions) -- and Learning, the performance feedback loop below. Memory is available on Pro plans and higher.
The Feedback Loop
Brand Brain is not static -- it improves with every piece of content you publish:
- You create and publish content through Social Neuron
- Analytics track what performs -- which posts get engagement, shares, and conversions
- High-performing patterns surface -- the tones, hooks, and topics that resonate with your audience
- Future content reflects what works -- proven patterns are weighted higher in recommendations
The more you use the platform, the sharper Brand Brain gets at predicting what your audience wants to see.
Brand Consistency Checking
Before content goes live, you can run a brand consistency check comparing a draft against your brand profile. It flags:
- Tone drift (too formal when your brand is casual, or vice versa)
- Off-brand vocabulary or phrases
- Missing brand elements (no CTA, no hashtags when your style calls for them)
- Audience mismatch (content targeting the wrong persona)
Tips for Best Results
Provide your website URL. Even a simple site gives Brand Brain concrete signals to work with -- colors, copy, and positioning are all extracted automatically.
Give examples of content you like. Show Brand Brain a post you loved and explain why, or flag a post that missed the mark.
Check your essentials count. Profiles missing key essentials produce more generic results. Use the strength indicator on the Studio tab as your checklist.
Review and refine. After extraction, spend a few minutes adjusting anything that does not look right. Small corrections early save you from repeated fixes later.
