Voice & Script Generator
Two of the most time-consuming parts of content creation are writing scripts and recording voiceovers. Social Neuron handles both with dedicated AI tools that work together and integrate with your Brand Brain profile.
Voice Generator
The Voice Generator creates natural-sounding AI voiceovers from text input. Powered by ElevenLabs, it produces speech that sounds human -- with natural pacing, intonation, and emotion -- not robotic text-to-speech.
What You Can Create
| Use Case | Description |
|---|---|
| Video narration | Voiceovers for AI-generated videos, product demos, and explainers |
| Social media audio | Audio for TikTok voiceovers, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts |
| Podcast intros | Professional intro and outro segments |
| Ad copy | Spoken advertisements for paid campaigns |
| Educational content | Narration for tutorials, courses, and how-to content |
How to Use the Voice Generator
Step 1: Enter Your Text
Type or paste the text you want converted to speech. This can be a script you wrote, output from the Script Generator, or any text content. The generator handles punctuation-based pacing automatically -- commas create brief pauses, periods create longer ones.
Step 2: Select a Voice
Choose from a library of AI voices. Each voice has a distinct character -- some are warm and conversational, others are authoritative and professional. Preview any voice before committing.
Step 3: Adjust Settings
Fine-tune the output to match your needs:
- Speed -- Slow down for emphasis or speed up for energetic delivery
- Tone -- Adjust the emotional quality of the voice
- Language -- Select from 29+ supported languages for multilingual content
Step 4: Generate and Download
Click generate and listen to the preview. If it sounds right, download the audio file or add it directly to a video project in Social Neuron. Regenerate with different settings if you want to try a different approach.
Supported Languages
The Voice Generator supports 29+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Mandarin), Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Czech, Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Slovak, Slovenian, Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian.
Each language uses native-quality speech synthesis -- not translated English with an accent overlay. The AI produces natural pronunciation, cadence, and intonation for each language.
For the most natural-sounding voiceover, write your script the way people actually talk. Short sentences. Natural pauses. Contractions instead of formal phrasing. The AI voice will sound more human if the text reads like speech rather than a document.
Credit Costs
Voice generation is billed based on the length of the text input:
| Length | Approximate Credits |
|---|---|
| Short (under 100 words) | 5 credits |
| Medium (100-300 words) | 10 credits |
| Long (300+ words) | 15+ credits |
Exact costs are shown before generation so you can review before spending credits.
Script Generator
The Script Generator creates professional video scripts, social media captions, podcast outlines, and ad copy -- all shaped by your Brand Brain profile so the output matches your voice automatically.
Script Types
| Script Type | Best For | Typical Length |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube video script | Long-form content with intro, body, and outro | 3-10 minutes of spoken content |
| YouTube Shorts / TikTok script | Punchy short-form videos under 60 seconds | 15-60 seconds |
| Podcast episode outline | Structured talking points with transitions | 10-30 minutes of content |
| Ad copy | Paid social ads, product promotions | 15-30 seconds |
| Instagram Reel script | Visual-first with text overlays and voiceover cues | 15-90 seconds |
| Carousel script | Slide-by-slide content for LinkedIn or Instagram carousels | 5-10 slides |
How Scripts Are Structured
Every script follows a proven structure optimized for engagement:
1. Hook (First 3 Seconds)
The opening line that stops the scroll. The Script Generator creates hooks based on what is working in your niche -- questions, bold statements, surprising statistics, or pattern interrupts. If you have published content before, the learning loop informs which hook styles perform best for your audience.
2. Body
The main content of your script. For educational content, this is structured as clear steps or points. For storytelling, it follows a narrative arc. For product content, it highlights benefits over features. The structure adapts to your content type and platform.
3. Call to Action
Every script ends with a clear CTA appropriate for the platform. YouTube scripts prompt subscriptions and comments. TikTok scripts encourage follows and shares. LinkedIn scripts drive profile visits or website clicks.
4. Platform-Specific Formatting
Scripts include platform-appropriate elements:
- TikTok/Reels: Text overlay cues, transition notes, trending audio suggestions
- YouTube: Chapter markers, description copy, tag suggestions
- LinkedIn: Professional tone adjustments, hashtag recommendations
- Carousel posts: Individual slide content with visual direction
How to Use the Script Generator
Step 1: Choose Your Format
Select the type of script you need -- YouTube video, TikTok, podcast outline, ad copy, or carousel.
Step 2: Describe Your Topic
Enter what the content is about. The more specific you are, the better the output. Compare these two prompts:
| Weak Prompt | Strong Prompt |
|---|---|
| "Make a video about fitness" | "60-second YouTube Shorts script about 5 morning stretches for people who sit at a desk all day" |
| "Write an ad" | "Instagram Reel ad for a meal prep delivery service targeting busy parents, under 30 seconds" |
Step 3: Review and Edit
The AI generates a complete script. Review each section -- hook, body, CTA -- and edit directly in the interface. Request rewrites of specific sections ("make the hook more provocative" or "shorten the body to 20 seconds") without regenerating the entire script.
Step 4: Send to Creation
Once your script is ready, send it directly to:
- Generative Studio to create a video from the script
- Avatar Lab to have an AI presenter deliver it
- Storyboard Studio to build a multi-scene video
- Voice Generator to create a voiceover audio file
- Distribution to publish as a text-based post
Scripts generated through the Script Generator carry their context forward into creation tools. When you send a script to Generative Studio, the visual generation already knows the tone, pacing, and structure you approved.
How Brand Brain Shapes Scripts
When Brand Brain is set up, every script automatically reflects:
- Your vocabulary -- The words and phrases your brand uses (and avoids)
- Your tone -- Formal, casual, humorous, authoritative, or any combination
- Your audience -- Scripts address your target demographic's pain points and interests
- Your style -- Sentence length, emoji usage, hashtag conventions, and formatting preferences
Without Brand Brain, the Script Generator still works but produces more generic output. With it, the difference is noticeable from the first generation.
Credit Costs
| Script Type | Credits |
|---|---|
| Caption or hook | 1 credit |
| Short-form script (TikTok, Reel) | 2 credits |
| Long-form script (YouTube, podcast) | 2-3 credits |
| Ad copy | 2 credits |
Using Voice and Script Together
The most efficient workflow combines both tools:
- Generate a script using the Script Generator for your chosen platform and topic
- Review and edit the script until it reads naturally when spoken aloud
- Send to Voice Generator to create the voiceover audio
- Send both to Generative Studio or Storyboard Studio to combine the voiceover with visuals
This end-to-end workflow produces a complete video with professional narration -- from a text description to a finished, narrated video -- without recording anything yourself.
When writing scripts intended for voiceover, use the Voice Generator's preview to test how lines sound before finalizing. Some phrases that look good on paper sound awkward when spoken. Iterate between the Script Generator and Voice Generator until the delivery sounds natural.
Example: Creating a YouTube Short
Here is a complete workflow for a 60-second YouTube Shorts script about meal prep for busy professionals:
1. Script Generator Input: "Generate a 60-second YouTube Shorts script about meal prep for busy professionals. Focus on saving time and money. Punchy hook, 5 quick tips, end with a follow CTA."
2. Script Output:
- Hook: "You are spending $50 a week on takeout. Here is how I spend $15."
- Tip 1-5: Quick cuts with text overlays for each meal
- CTA: "Follow for more money-saving food hacks."
3. Voice Generator: Select a conversational, upbeat voice. Generate the narration in English. Download the audio.
4. Storyboard Studio: Import the script and voiceover. Generate visuals for each tip. Export as a 9:16 video ready for YouTube Shorts.
Total credits spent: 2 (script) + 10 (voiceover) + video generation cost = a complete narrated video for under $1.
